Sadly the Vienna Pipes and Drums 2021 Whisky Tasting planned for Saturday 20th November 2021 has been cancelled. Because of the worsening COVID-19 situation in Vienna we have reluctantly decided to postpone the event.
We plan to hold the tasting in 2022 when the Coronavirus situation improves. Apologies to all the whisky fans who bought tickets for Saturday, we hope to see you all soon!
All ticket sales will be refunded. Please give the refunds a day or two to be processed.

Vienna Pipes and Drums are holding a Whisky Tasting fundraiser on Saturday 20th November 2021!

Join the band for an evening of music, craic and fine single malt Scotch whisky. We will have a range of whiskies from all around Scotland for you to sample, as well as a cash bar selling beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks. Doors and the cash bar will open at 19:30, and the tasting will start at 20:00.

Tickets are €38 and allow you to sample as many whiskies as you wish (drinks from the bar are not included). All proceeds go to supporting the band with tuition, instruments, and competition travel.

This is our first band fund-raising event since the Burns Night in January 2020, and we are looking forward to welcoming back fans of good Scotch whisky and bagpipe music.

Entrance will be strictly “2G + tested” i.e. you must be certified as vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19, AND also possess a valid PCR or antigen test result. Self-tests will not be accepted. Guests must bring official evidence of their vaccination or recovery and a valid test result, preferably using the Grüner Pass mobile phone app. Guests without a valid certificate will not be admitted – no exceptions and no refunds!
